对于考研英语而言，我们还是要学习考研英语的做题方法，在考研英语中，分值占比最高的一个题型是阅读题，占试卷总分的40%，所以“得阅读者得天下”，意思是想考高分阅读理解必须做好。在大家的认知中，考研英语阅读只是20个小题，但是我们把这20个小题给大家做了一个归类，即可以分为6个题型，分别是主旨大意题、例证题、词义句意题、情感态度题、细节题和段落推断题。

对于阅读题而言，我们通常的做法都是先看题干，再看文章，看题干的目的是为了找题干中的关键词，然后帮助我们回原文定位。我们找关键词的顺序一般都是先找名词。例如在这个题中，John Dane可以作为我们所要找的关键词。那么找到关键词之后，接下来就是要回原文定位，我们可以定位到A tailor named John Dane…这句话。这时候很多同学都觉得，是不是说我把这句话读懂了这题就能写出来了呢?其实不然，反之还会做错。

大家可以阅读一下题干，问的问题是“The story of John Dane shows that”即“John Dane这个人的故事表明了…”，我们如果在题干中看到了the story…shows that…等这类关键词，就可以判断这是例证题。什么是例证题呢?其实通俗点讲就是“论点+论据”。我们刚刚定位到的这个人名其实是个论据，论据不是我们找的重点，因为命题老师不会在论据处命题，所以我们找什么呢?要找论点，那么论点在哪里?大家可以记住，论点一般都是在论据之前的一句话，所以这题的解题句就是例子之前的Their thinking often had a traditional superstitious quality.找到了解题句之后，大家可以看一下对应的是哪个选项，即A选项，因为选项中的superstitions和原文的superstitious对应。
